The 71-foot tall statue of Our Lady of Regina Rica is actually the highlight of the site. It’s a gigantic effigy of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the child Jesus. Jose Barcena Jr. designed and sculpted the sacred masterpiece. You can also notice angels beautifully carved at the bottom of the Regina Rica statue.
